Repatriate Me!

Up until this week I had a place to stay (free) and a ride for the first few days I would be in Toronto. That has now disappeared. I just booked a place to stay – a one bedroom basement suite for $34 a night. it’s not too far from Markham, where I’m planning on looking for a house and comes with internet, kitchenette, washer/dryer and air conditioning.

I booked via Air BnB and the listing has several good reviews so am confident that it will be good. Definitely cheaper than a hotel and after last years bad experience at the University of Ottawa dorms I wasn’t interested in staying at dorm rooms again.

Will now be booking a car rental. Hopefully I can buy a car within 3-4 days of landing and return the car rental early.
