Lantern Festival 2010

Readers may remember last year when I posted pictures of the lantern festival but didn’t get any night shots. Well this year I found out in advance and went there last night. I got a lot of great pics despite the insane crowds. I’m still learning how to process RAW files and haven’t actually done any editing of these pictures as they seem pretty good strait out of the camera. Hope you enjoy them.

Under a bridge with lanterns and a peak at the crowds out to see the lanterns (the crowd was a little thin here)

A little early for Christmas but still looks nice
The colors look a little strange, but this lantern was just massively huge
Lining both sides of the stream where the lantern festival is held are street lamp still lanterns
These lanterns crossed the stream and were shot above from street level
