Looking forward to cheaper gas in Canada

One of the things that I am looking forward to when I make it back to Canada is cheap gasoline. I know Canadians think that their gasoline prices are expensive, but when you look at prices around the world, prices are cheaper than average.

I don’t drive much in Seoul for a couple of reasons – the insanely crazy driving that goes on here, which is a topic for another post, and the cost of filling up my tank.

Right now in Seoul the price of gasoline is sitting around 1950 won per liter or about cad$1.77 – compare that to prices across Canada right now from this article at CBC.

I hope you’ll maintain your gas conserving ways even if gas is cheaper here. That’s a big problem with North Americans, they think unlimited gasoline is a god-given right. They suck up 80% of the world’s resources and seem to feel that’s okay.

Will do and as I mentioned here I am planning on getting a hybrid car once I’ve moved.
