Repatriate Me!

Now that our visa application has been submitted we have to wait. Fortunately the government has set up a page with a waiting time forecast – the page for Family Class applications is here. Currently there’s a 37 day wait, for stage one, which is pretty consistent with my friend Dave’s experience earlier in the fall.

It’s also possible to view the status of your specific application by going to the Client Application Status page and logging in. Since we sent our application on Friday I know that the government hasn’t even received it yet let alone started processing it. I will, however, in a couple of weeks log in and check the status.
