Korean Mask

Today I met a client for dinner to talk about their site that I just completed work on. If your interested check out Seoul Selection This is the same client that gave me tickets to Nanta.

On the way to meet them I stopped in Insa Dong, an area well known for traditional products and very popular with tourists and expats. While there I bought myself a mask. There are so many different kinds of masks but this is one of my favorites. I’ll probably be buying a few more of these before I return to Canada next year.

There aren’t really a lot of places you can wear masks to in Ottawa Too cold in the winter and way too hot under there in the summer…lol

That’s funny; I was just thinking about masks, too.  Good luck with your preparations!

XUP,
Yeah, it’s more of a wall ornament in any case - I’m planning on buying a couple of other ones with different designs.

Nathan,
Did you buy any while you were in Korea?

I bought a typical, inexpensive mask for young Telemachus while we were in Insadong on our holiday there last year.  Is yours a one-of-a-kind mask?  It certainly looks quite unique.

Nathan,

Not unique, but it was one of the more expensive ones. I’ll be buying one or two more masks this weekend as we go to Andog, mask central, to experience some traditional culture and tourism. Expect a post when I find time.
